The Just Keep Swimming Foundation, a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation based out of Dallas, Texas, was founded by the family and friends of Trevis Bellard. Trevis (also known by his artistic name "Fishes") not only used the mantra "Just Keep Swimming," he lived it through his unrelenting and uplifting view on life. His profound impact resonates with everyone around him, inspiring us all to embody the spirit of resilience.

Sadly, Trevis passed away suddenly on August 20, 2023, but his legacy continues through our foundation. We are passionately committed to providing grants and unwavering support to minority artists facing financial constraints and resource barriers. Our mission is to encourage and support minority artists who aspire to create profound, positive change in their communities and beyond. Through our efforts, we contribute to a more equitable and inclusive future for minority artists. Empowering minority artists to "just keep swimming", fueled by Trevis' enduring spirit and ultra-inspiring perspective on life.

“My painting process is what makes my work art. I’ll be leaving my mark for the people I’ve left behind in my life so they can experience my life as I lived it. My artistic journey has taught me that experience holds true meaning in my expression.”

- Trevis "Fishes" Bellard
